Jurgita Ratkeviciute is a Lithuanian born visual artist who currently lives and works in Lytellton, New Zealand. She draws on a wide range of influences, from Baltic folk motifs, and Russian Orthodox iconography, to minimalism, Soviet avant-gardes, and Japanese aesthetics. Jurgita works with a wide range of mediums, from print-making and photography, to jewellery, fashion design, and text. Jurgita holds a Bachelors degree from the Vilnius Academy of Arts majoring in jewellery.
